HipHopDX Premiere: San Fransisco-born Blimes Brixton has resurfaced with a new video for “Look At Me Now.”

Directed by The How For TeamDoneSon Films, the video for the Lou Koo-produced track shows Blimes in her native environment, chopping it up with the locals and celebrating the beauty of the California city.

“As native San Franciscans, we’re all hella proud of what our city was when we grew up there,” Blimes tells HipHopDX. “It changed so much as a result of the dot com boom. And has been gentrified almost beyond recognition. The unity and community that our city once represented, inhabited by immigrants and and hippies, is an important part of my cultural identity. I saw it fit to write a track that paid homage to the city and values that raised me.”
