HipHopDX Premiere: As MC Bravado continues to roll out his latest full-length project, Hip-Hop*, the New York City-based artist returned with an emotionally-charged video for one of its tracks, “Dead Man’s Dream.” Directed by Mike Jon and Andrew Bryan, the visual begins with his father talking about the death of his own father at an early age before the talented wordsmith starts sharing his deepest feelings on the subject.
“Sometimes our deepest and most meaningful connections are with people we’ve never met,” Bravado tells HipHopDX. “Examining the roots of these connections can double as self-discovery and exfoliation of the soul, an uncovering of a once mysterious guiding light that’s actually been there all along. ‘Dead Man’s Dream’ is just one of those stories.”
