Watch Madchild Battle His Inner Demons In "Write It Down"

As Swollen Members rapper Madchild prepares to drop The Darkest Hour, the Canadian’s follow-up LP to 2015’s Silver Tongue Devil, he has been whetting the palates of his fans by rolling out various singles and videos from the project. His most recent comes in the form of a video for “Write It Down” featuring production from longtime friend and Dilated Peoples member Evidence.

Directed by The Jokerr, the video for the song depicts Madchild chained up as he tirelessly battles his inner demons while using writing as his catharsis. The Darkest Hour is expected to arrive on March 10. Watch the visual above.
