HipHopDX Premiere: Dallas up and comer Chromat!k is back with the telling visuals for “The Casting,” a track produced by Digital Safari. The video is seemingly in two parts. In the first half of the nearly six-minute cinematic presentation, a woman takes a bat to her man’s head while in part two, another domestic dispute erupts into an attempted murder by vehicle as a crazy girlfriend hunts down her beau with a golf club.

“This video was something that came about naturally,” Chromat!k tells DX. “It’s one of the first videos I shot that everybody involved was on the same page, so the process was smooth and consistent. The song/video itself has two perspectives on love from both me and Sterling’s point of view. I feel like we expressed that through the video. As you watch the story unfold, you’ll see how they cross paths.”

Chromat!k recently made an appearance on Sway In The Morning and since then, his video for “Sad God” has received over 1 million views and is available on all streaming apps.
