Even though The Roots’ Questlove found himself in hot water after playing Fishbone’s “Lyin’ Ass Bitch” to introduce Michelle Bachmann on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in 2011, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have fun with his job anymore.
On last night’s (September 19) episode, The Roots decided to usher in Hillary Clinton’s appearance with a rendition of Ghostface Killah’s “Mighty Healthy,” a statement on her recent health “scandal,” which caused the Democratic Presidential Nominee to take a few days off from her campaign.
Fallon nailed it by putting on a mask and using hand sanitizer after shaking Clinton’s hand, prompting her to give him a high-five for originality. Clinton’s introduction begins around the 12-minute mark in the video above and check out the Wu-Tang vet’s original track from his Supreme Clientele album.
