While visiting Australia, Peanut Butter Wolf, founder of Stones Throw Records and MC J. Rocc sat down for a keynote speaking engagement with Australian music conference, BIGSOUND, to discuss the label’s 20th anniversary. During the discussion, they touched on the early work of the late rapper Charizma, Madlib and, of course, the late, great J Dilla.

In the 2013 Stones Throw documentary Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton, a lot of this was covered, but the appearance seemed to provide Peanut Butter Wolf time to contemplate how Dilla’s final album, Donuts, came to fruition.

Stones Throw is currently home to artists like Egyptian Lover, Dam Funk, and Homeboy Sandman.
