HipHopDX Exclusive Premiere: Chicago-based Chine Music released Yung Stakks’ first solo song “Stakk Money” in 2015 and it was quickly named one of the hottest songs in the city by Fakeshore Drive. They followed that up with a “mixtape before the mixtape” titled “Off My Chest” in late 2015.
In May 2016, they leaked “Sell Dope & Gang Bang” featuring G Herbo (SDGB), to kick off the iTunes release of Yung Stakks’ first solo project titled “In My Own Lane,” which released on iTunes and Spotify in June 2016. “Ballin” is the first single driving that project. The track is produced by Zaytoven.
Now, Stakks drops the visual for the track, which has him feeling himself tough. The free internet version of “In My Own Lane” hosted by Don Cannon will go live on DatPiff on August 23.
