J Readi, a young talented rapper from Wyandanch Long Island, NY, is the nephew of Hip Hop icon Rakim Allah. If you ask Rakim what he sees in his nephew he’ll respond to you: the passion to be the best with the humility in him to put Allah first. At the age of five J Readi started freestyling, as well as playing the keyboard and drums which made him quickly figured out that music was his passion.

Now, J Readi delivers straight bars on his visual to De La Soul’s 1996 classic “Stakes Is High.” His new project “The Pretape” is out now via Soundcloud. Stay tuned for his anticipated EP RadioReadi, set to drop in the fall.
