Hailing from the birthplace of Hip Hop, New York native Liam Tracy is ready to make a first great impression. Under the tutelage of his production company Taylor & Co, the 21-year-old emcee has honed a unique sound studying and fusing elements from the Golden Era of Hip Hop along with some of today’s modern influences. After releasing his debut mixtape “Drugs and Alcohol” at the tail-end of May, Liam is now unveiling his first music video for the Kaylib produced track “Reminisce.”
Shot by acclaimed director Dan The Man (Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Method Man), “Reminisce” is a reflective visual, illustrating the young artist’s maturity, both personally and musically. Liam Tracy’s promising talent as a lyricist and producer grabbed the attention of independent label Babygrande Records. Immediately after signing, Liam hit the touring circuit by storm opening for Cannibal Ox in 2015 and landing a coveted spot on the 8th Annual SXSW Takeover last March, performing on an all-star bill with the likes of Kevin Gates, Wale, DJ Drama, and more. Recently, Liam also performed on this year’s Smokers Club Tour alongside Cam’ron, The Underachievers, Smoke DZA, G Herbo, and Nyck Caution (Pro Era).
