Kap Kallous and Koncept team up for “The Worst,” a thoughtful offering produced by Optiks and Brett Cimbalik. “You ain’t got to worry about me, I already lost my soul,” kicks Kallous over the hook, before continuing with “Those people been talking lately, I already know.” Later he delivers, “I lost my soul but, still got backbone” with a coolness as if he just waded through the fire. But it’s not all doom and gloom. Somehow both Kap and Kon sound lighthearted while dancing in the pale moonlight.
