The detailed video is certainly one for the books. With appearances from characters of Pokémon, Naruto, Spirited Away, Dragon Ball Z, and more, DeShay finds himself become a character as well. I grew up admiring guys like Pharrell, Cudi, Kanye.. dudes who weren’t afraid to be themselves and more importantly, speak for the unspoken for. I think in my generation, everybody is so obsessed with being “cool” and no one is brave enough to come out and say, “HEY. F*ck it. I’m a nerd. I love anime. I love video games. AND I’ll still f*ck your b*tch and make her watch anime with me.” So, I wanna be that voice for all those people out there that don’t give a f*ck about being cool and rather just be themselves. This video is just one step of me achieving that dream.
