DJ Dahi spoke with Complex about the meaning behind the video:
“When I make music I try not to create ‘cookie cutter’ style tracks. I believe in pushing boundaries and using musical influences to stretch beyond what people think fits in a genre,” Dahi told Complex Music. “Making the ‘Drop’ video I thought about what happens in clubs, nightlife and after the party as a concept for making the video. But then I thought what about taking people on a visual journey. As the track changes and shifts so does the emotion of the video.”
