    1. The music business is so fickle now you got to buy your own records to appear successful Jay Z who had some company buy his first million not to long ago ,This may be a stunt to spark interest in wayne next album

    2. Yea this is a pretty good episode. It actually makes perfect sense tho. I wouldn’t have him drop an album either. I think that Birdman is afraid that he would lose more money via promotion on the project, than he would gain. I want to bring up what 50 cent said about Wayne awhile back. To summarize he said Wayne’s sound is too over saturated, ie there’s to much of music out there for anyone to truly enjoy it. I want say he was right because there isn’t much information proving him wrong. I think it would be good for Wayne to take a break. In the state that hip-hop is in right now Wayne isn’t helping it with his lackluster bars and odd yet creative rapping style. Wayne is spitta and will go down as one of the best of all time. But one thing that all the greats have in is a great come back story. Now is great time for that. Last thing Jay-z said in a interview, Power 105 or the breakfast I can’t remember which, he was never going to sign Wayne. Wayne just want to go Jay had no intentions to get. And Birdman all most sued Jay for hanging out with Wayne.

      1. if we are going to take 50s shit opinion on board and that every rapper who sounds like someone else should take a break there would be about 2 niggas rapping at the moment.

    3. the interest in Lil Wayne fading is simply because he’s not supplying this instant gratification general public with constant music. He is still TOP 5 artist Period. He just needs to put out more music and be more visible I think. Do interviews radio etc, shoot a mini documentary, shit like that. He has to reinvent some things. but there is no denying that his music interest is still there.

    4. Alright, lots of thought put into the theory behind this video, so credit to the producers for that. I’m going to lean on the side that shelving the album is a mistake, if only for one reason: Wayne’s the reason Cash Money still exists.

So, his interest wains (get it) a bit, but what artist doesn’t have ups and downs — really. What a slap in the face to the man who kept the label alive. You’d think with all the money CM made with Wayne at the front and his building artists around him (Drake for example), that Birdman would be happy to lose a little money now at the expense of being grateful for what he’s already done for CM; even though I hesitate to say lose money because it’s just a prediction.

Either way, CM and Birdman wouldn’t have as much dough if not for Wayne, so if you want to talk about biting the hand that feeds you — there you go. This is how empire’s fall…greed.

    5. J Coles album did better then nickis commercially and nicki was the artist of 2014. I think wayne would have flopped. No new buzz or good single. Buy the world and believe me were the best songs he was on. I think the album would have flopped commercially and would have panned critically. Baby was right. Thuggers too hot to take your hands off also.

    6. host looks like he doesn’t believe he’s doing this. screencaps of tweets and IG grabs? doesn’t this defeat the purpose of social media in the first place? don’t all the people who actually care about these dudes beyond the records they make *already* follow them on their social media? i guess if you’re super hard core you can’t follow a #blood if you’re a #crip, so this might be useful. i guess. real talk: the end of this clip should have been the beginning. oh, and the google trends thing is genius! y’all about to start a new flavor of beef up in these comments! instead of these stans comparing record sales they gonna have to learn basic statistics and graph reading! KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE

    7. Man these rappers now are fake. I feel sorry for the younger generation. These artist are helping to raise cowards…fake ass gangsters. Twitter and instagram thugs. These so called gangster niggas only talk from a computer. Then they take down they shit cuz they scared.

    8. First off, Like the “video Editorial” format. I think adding the statistics of his decline gave a more accurate depiction of “Caa-kaw” Mans decisions as to why Wanye’s album is delayed. Then again I’m not sure if Google statistics fully encapsulate wayne’s pop presence. I think there are def more reasons to why its been delayed or it could just be a media ploy to generate attention…
