I think that’s probably because people think of P as a rapper first. His business achievements have been underplayed by Hip Hop, sadly. Thank you both for the comment and checking the piece.
Like dude said above, people only remember P as a rapper. Since he really wasnt a great rapper people move on, but his business accomplishments are much greater. No limit set the pace for the mid to late 90s. they put out what seemed like 5 albums a week! not many rappers/labels of that era came even close to cranking out that much music except cash money, which came later.
Real shit..fuck Master P!! He’s a snake, a rat and robbed artists out of their royalties! Big Ed (RIP), Serv-on, Mia, Fiend, Mac (Free MAC) will all tell you the same!
where did you get your information from??….never heard anybody say they wasn’t getting money with Master P….heard ppl say they ain’t like how the label turned when Master P became an international star when he couldn’t tend to his artists like he used to..but never not getting no money.
Stitches, wow how did he get record deal, what a gimmick and the sheep eat that up.. lol Master P was terrible but the dude did put peeps on and made bread…Necro was ill back in the days…. The G-rap shit was weak…
Respect to Necro for showing respect to Master P.
P changed the game for a lot of dudes.
Exactly but it seems many people dont wanna give p the respect he deserves.
