In the sixth installment of Funk Volume’s Don’t Fu[n]k Up Our Beats Contest, the winners’ circle was filled with talent. The Grand Prize Winner Flawless Real Talk (@FlawlessRI) dropped a high-powered track called “Let’s See,” detailing his thought process in contributing to the competition. “Wasn’t even gonna join, let the rest eat,” he says before firing off some rapid bars and ultimately taking the crown. 2nd Place was Shizzy VI (@SuicideVI), whose track “I’ll Body You” came equipped with even a Nardwuar reference. 3rd Place? Well, it’s Pedro Bizz Juanjulio (@MizzyMr785), and his cut “Run It Back” closed the doors on the competition. All three artists did their thing.
