While out in Chicago, Freddie performed one of the tracks off his Madlib-produced Piñata album, “Real.” The real fun didn’t begin until a verse in or so when Gibbs made it clear who he was aiming at. “You wanna be Jay Z, nigga you just a fucking puppet,” growled Gibbs as the crowd went wild. “You say you’re the realest but Ross had you scared to drop a diss record” and “you had the whole team looking weak, I guess that’s why they ran up on you at BET,” were other current Hip Hop events that made the single turn into a diss track toward his former CTE boss Young Jeezy.
Piñata is set to be delivered on March 18.
