    1. wow, bitch dont kill my vibe was already 53 @ hot 100 without any video

The song will do better than poetic justice and swimming pools with the video, kendrick has another hit D:

      1. @gumbeekjn Molly is a drug. Almost like X I guess. Never tried it myself but the youngins are into it.

      2. i know what molly is but why did it all the sudden just flash to a black screen that says Death To Molly? i was confused about that

    2. i thought u said u wanted to be baptized in alcohol? what the fuck is that! wack video. without that comedic shit people will still watch it and why is he having a baptism during someone elses funeral

    3. I KNOW THE LABEL WAS TRYING TO MILK ALL THEY COULD FROM POETIC JUSTICE…BUT THIS SHIT IS SO OVERDUE

      1. Kendrick Lamar, like any person, has changed because of his fame. Not in a big way or anything, but he definetly has to adapt to this lifestyle. He and his loved ones say goodbye to the old him (the funeral), and they bury him in this field. While Kendrick wants to party because of his success and stuff, he still puts in the effort to who Kendrick Lamar truelly is. So he stays in that field where the old him resides. He might be dead, but this Kendrick keeps very close to the old one.

      2. ^ Your off..please see the last 2 seconds of the video and it will all make sense…this is the death of molly, the drug and the trend behind, hence why they are celebrating throughout the funeral.

      1. yeah dawg they filmed someones funeral for his music video then burried them out in an empty field

    4. At first I was like “why is he in a field for” but unlike most main stream people who are in fields just to be in fields and look pure it actually had something to do with it and the whole concept of the video just blew my mind.

    5. Damn this was dope as hell! The vibe got killed, literally. Who thinks of that? Like 3-5-7, Cold going mad.

    6. whats with Kendrick and all this hype? Dude is average at best. The only reason he’s considered NICE is because he’s going up against rappers that cant rap for shit!! DON’T…DON’T … DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE !!!!

    7. damn I’m glad that gkmc is already on every “best albums of all time, all genre” lists because he really deserves it

    8. if kendrick dies, he’ll be remembered just like Biggie

His album is already on every best albums list, this man is going to be a legend

big props to the messiah of hip hop

    9. One my favorite songs from his album, not really feeling the video tho. And dude below me is right Kendrick is average compared to the greats, and alot of the hype around him is because he’s doing something different from the trend but that doesn’t take away from the fact the kid made a solid album and in these days and times I think thats about the best we can hope for unfortunately.

      1. I’ll take Kendrick’s catalog over “greats” like Biggie and Pac everyday of the week. And I was born in 1980 so I’ve heard it all from the “greats”.

    10. Hip Hop started in the streets and it will forever be in the streets, the fact of the matter is. Nobody in the streets is listening to Kendrick, only kids from the burbs. i don’t care how lyrical he is, it’s fuckin WACK in the streets. Only people in the urban community (not suburban ) should have say to what is dope hip hop and what isn’t, this is NOTHING special. Kids from the suburbs tend to think just because a rapper is “lyrical” that makes them great! 2Pac , Too Short, Eazy E, and many many others weren’t the most complex rappers but they are more legends, why? Because they kept it street. These underground, and lyrical cats can rhyme as many words out of the dictionary that they want and it is still wack in the streets why? Wack subject matter, wack hooks, wack beats, nobody wants to listen to any of that.

People wake up, street hip hop (biggie, 2pac, big l , meek, jeezy ) any rapper that reps the streets, YES even Gucci will have more respect than these lyrical cats, because hip hop IS the streets, and if the streets aren’t feelin it, than it doesn’t matter how versatile you are, wack is wack no matter what!

      Bawse!!!!!!!!!!!!

      1. i guess thats why Kendrick sold more than everyone on MMG’s last albums then. because street people are bums who dont buy records but wanna complain on the internet

    11. amazing song from an amazing album
Amazing album. When I listen to it, it was more than music, it was a story of a person just like me with dreams, fear, dangers, trouble, happiness, adolescence and maturity. He stayed true to his roots he kept it original but different. God bless Kendrick Lamar and hip hop.

    12. Good god, I havent heard an album like this in a GOOD minute. I will actually purchase this rather than download it. If hip hop artist pumped out more stuff like this, labels could move units like it was ’98.

    13. Glad to see he is still promoting his album,
This album is ahead of its time. Perfection from start to finish.
The best hip-hop debut since Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor.

    14. This album will go down as one of the best albums of all time for any genre just like Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, Ready to Die and the other rap albums that are considered the best of all time. When those albums came out we didn’t understand how great they because were very young at the time. Now we have a chance to witness a classic and a legend in the making. The storytelling is amazing. It’s like a movie. You can’t just listen to a couple of songs or skip through. You have to listen straight through from beginning to end.

      1. I agree the albums good but not quite a classic by my standards as most classics change the game or bring a new aspect to the culture. While his storytelling was good and I love a concept album its been done countless times from Masta Ace, to Sticky Fingers to Redman (Dare iz a Darkside went over cats heads) to Prince Paul. Don’t get me wrong I like the album and enjoyed the ride thru LA but its definitely not classic. Then again by today standards it just might be. lol.

      1. now I can’t agree with this, when you have dre backing you up like he did then what did you expect. Section 80 was amazing compared to GKMC, both are great albums but a lot of people have made great albums and went under the radar, it is all about marketing.

    15. kendrick is impressive, his flow is amazing.

His ability to seamlessly transition between different rhythmic levels, from quadruplets, to quintuplets, to sextuplets, to double-quadruplets, is on a level I have never seen before. Ive seen these rhythms before, most predominantly in Busta Rhymes circa the Genesis album, Outkasts albums circa Aquemini, and Eminem post-2001 until Relapse. But Ive never seen anyone able to put it all together at once like Kendrick and move from one to the next almost effortlessly.

      1. yo what he needs to do is bring his sound back Hiipower

this song sucks and his album is over rated

    16. not a kendrick fan but I can recognize good music.
this is a masterpiece right there, amazing album

    17. Kendrick has that Eminem/Tupac mic presence/magic
He understands hip hop, he knows how to make classic albums.

    18. glad to see that gkmc is the new standard of excellence, I haven’t heard something as great as gkmc since the marshall mathers lp in 2000

    19. I need to buy gkmc, I listened to it yesterday and it blew my mind, probably the second best album I have heard in my life

    20. GIVE ME A CHANCE
Youtube is all about finding new artist, & though I been rapping for a while im still consider a new artist. I just want my music heard thats all, im not looking for no record deal, getting famous ‘r anything like that.! so please just spare a few sec. to check me out, & if you like what you heard please SUBSCRIBE so ill know you actually listen & support
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzBh55tD_eg

    21. I remember first getting the album…and then being stuck on the second track because it was so smooth and well executed. Amazing production and lyrics from a talented artist. Video was meh, still a great song though. If anything…the video lost me at times…

    22. When “hiii power dropped” the single dropped, I went back to his “overly dedicated” mixtape. And other records. Wasn’t very impressed. Then section80 was released…. It was all uphill from there. I don’t compare section80 to GKMC. Both very good albums. Classics perhaps. But too premature still… I dnt judge his feature appearances. He has to cater to the other artists idea. His third album, which will come with extreme pressure to follow-up GKMC, is something every hiphop fan will anticipate. If he can pull off a 3peat, then we can mention his name amongs the greats. But like I said, “just MENTION” … West coast!!!

      1. O.D Was a superb album go back and listen again everything he has put out is in a whole nother class…

      2. i think section 80 is better then gkmc
but his even older music is better…vanity slave pt1 &2, faith, fuck a hook. i am kendrick lamar
these are songs no new fans know but they are his best work in my opinion

    23. Kendrick it a good artist, lyricist, good song and nice video, but whats with the white color, he is ODing on it in every video

    24. great song, the video is stupid. im sorry…this song aint got nothing to do with molly, and very little to do with church. alot of you guys should just let kendrick make more good music before you start with all this G.O.A.T. bullshit. let him do something daring or win a battle before u just give him the title, u kids dont have ANY RESPECT, all it takes is something to go viral than its the greatest until the next viral thing. let it breath..respect it.

      1. You need to listen again, its not directly about Molly, but it certainly applies. Name of the song alone applies. Just say you dont like the Kendrick hype and leave it at that.

      2. You missed the entire point of the video… the baptism is like dying of your old ways and coming back a new person with new ways.. which is what the funeral was about thus the cause to celebrating in the car… and if you listen to the progression of the album.. it goes in that direction also… obviously you don’t listen to music.. you skim through it. lol..

    25. oh shit i just realized kendrick was sitting there in his own funeral as a ghost/angel wearing all white
