Kendrick Lamar f. Drake – “Poetic Justice”

Joined by Drake (but not Janet Jackson), Kendrick Lamar surprises us with a tragic love story-themed video for “good kid, m.A.A.d city’s” “Poetic Justice.”

    1. This video is dope. Glad it tells a story, and does something different. Not like the shit that Khaled and people that are associated with him put out i.e. there’s always some kind of running theme that they’re always being chased by someone (cops/criminals) and make a daring escape by the end.

    2. I like both these artists, especially Drake, but come on people – neither the song nor video deserves a 5/5 rating… I’m not saying it’s bad, but the song sounded like they both played it safe, nothing at all special about the beat, mildly catchy hook at best. Video looks like every other rap video ever made, especially the bedroom scene and all the slow mo people standing around smoking/ drinking…Been there, done that! I get that there is a “message” but how is this theme/story anything new? How is this in any way creative or different from any other song out there? This song is easily forgettable and in no way the best we have head from these artists. Do better. Moving on…

      1. Only 1 person rated the song a perfect 5 and only 1 person happens to have rated it! It’s not that serious bud.

If you don’t like the rating maybe you should have rated it what you though it was to even it out.

    3. I have to be honest, I’m a little disappointed with this video. Love the song, but nothing super special otherwise. Drake’s verse is better than his usual. And Kendrick spits as usual.

      1. kill yourself all drake talk about is females and money and im not the biggest fan of kendrick but he does have more subject matter and better flows and lyrics

      2. If only motherfuckers would stop hating on drake and start saying the truth. That boy is dope and raps about real shit about HIS life.

      3. I’m a fan of both but I enjoy Drake’s music more. Dude’s flow is sick and he spits nothing but the truth; but all people want to do is call him soft because he isn’t some “tough” guy.

      4. Compton >>> Toronto
        Centennial High >>>>>Degrassi High
The fact that Kendrick needs NO features>>>>>>>>Drake’s whole gimmick

      1. I did at first. But it’s kind of like comparing Food & Liquor to The Cool. One is a classic album, one is a classic concept album. Same with Section 8.0 and Good Kid m.A.A.d City.

        IMHO

      2. I agree with @MmmHmm!! The storytelling on GKMC gave the album a dope cinematic feel but I think Section 80 had better production. They’re both dope though.

    4. It’dve been nice if at the end, where Kendrick is getting taken to the hospital, we just get a close-up of the nurse, and it’s Janet Jackson… That’s all it missed – just a little cameo.

    5. Big ups for putting some dark skin babes in the video. This is a dope track but it’s still my least favorite on the album.
