    1. People must hate this man because they could never be as righteous as him… Don’t question the light EMBRACE IT!

    2. This why Lupe will always be my favorite rapper, dude is so dope and I love his videos. Funny how both his videos made me like the songs even more. F&L2 BABY!!!!!!

    3. Great visual, Lupe getting his visual / message across for the world to see the truth, looking forward to the album.

    4. Cold! Can’t hide from this one. Now will all these hip hop sites promote this? TV show too? I hope this blows up

    5. very good video and song, the message is more powerful with the visuals, seeing the blackface and just comparing the days of that with today, or how the blackface acting mislead black children into acting dumb like the actors.

      1. BAMBOOZLED!!!!!
THAT’S WHAT’S BEING DONE TO THE YOUTH VIA MEDIA(RADIO/TV/INTERNET).
AWESOME SONG AND MESSAGE, AND I BET HE’S GOING TO MAKE SOME SCRATCH OF OF THE PARTICULAR “EDUTAINMENT”. SO TO SAY THAT THERE’S NO MONEY TO BE MADE BY DISSEMINATING THE “TRUTH” IS RUBBISH!

        SALAAM

    6. I have always liked the single when this came out, Lupe did a good job portraying the ssong to a video 5 stars, if I could give it more trust me I would.

    7. Damn as a rapper he’s fucking all i know up but as a black man and father shit he’s a breath of fresh air a modern day goat

    8. I follow hiphopdx religiously and Never ever post a comment because i never felt the need…. but right now I feel the need to because I connected with this video THAT MUCH. Lupe. Keep the world along with myself inspired. Keep doing exactly what it is you are doing.

    9. Just brilliant…. Lupe’s best video to date touching on the influence that so many of the stereotypical rap images from music videos can have on the youth and how it causes misconceptions with the word B***

    10. this dude is just awesome !

he reps his beliefs on the paper and on the mic

this is what hip-hop should be about : MESSAGE

and it’s a breath of fresh air in this era where chris brown, lil wayne, lil b, tyga, wiz khalifa, 50 cent, eminem, dipset and so many other industry puppets are running this shit

      1. I rock with Lupe too, but I disagree that that “hipster” mentality. Hip-hop itself is not about having a particular “message”. Of course it’s refreshing to hear artists who DO give you a messgae in the music, but it ain’t required to be considered good hip-hop. Biggie is one of the GOATs and he could give two fucks about a message

      2. when hip-hop started, it was a way for the youth to express the voice of the streets

now, a message is not necessarily bout a political view on a certain subject, it can also express a positive energy like de la soul or ATCQ did

there are different ways to express your deepest thoughts on the paper :
        – scarface rhymes from time to time about suicide, it is a message
        – tupac used to rap bout poverty and misery on the streets, it is a message
        – dmx spits about his anger, it is a fuckin message
        – common raps mostly bout love and good life, it is also a message

when i said there must be a message, i was somehow makin reference to rappers who raps mostly bout bulshit like 50 cent, jim jones or rick ross who spits only bout guns and money. to me it is pouring pure ignorance into the ears of the youth and i definitely cannot agree with that kind of shit

      3. I agree with above comments but how the fuck can u throw eminem in with that list? I’m not a crazy Stan or anything but everyone knows Ems past work and lyrical ability and just because he’s mainstream and popoular doesn’t put him in that group of rappers

      4. I agree with you bro to an extent. But Em, Dipset and 50 puppets?? lol, sound lil biased bro, how so?? Let’s keep this about Lupe and how he FINALLY is makeing the album we’ve been waiting on. Besides EM is a LYRICAL BEAST and 50 crafted a mixtape game, ur silly for callin’ em puppets fam.

    11. to make a track like this which disses the the way the industry wants the children to think and to make it one of the main singles of the album pure genuis!!! Most of the hip hop industry can learn from Lupe!

    12. Come on lupe, get your head straight man, your music is turning into the shitty stuff about smoking crack and fucking bitches, get back to the real shit.

    13. Damn, this was super dope. I’m surprised Atlantic even let him drop this video though because most of their artist are the epitome of what Lupe is talking about. Lupe real as shit man. That’s what you call a real dude right there.

    14. Lupe Last Real Nigga Alive

I did not like this song from an audio perspective but the visuals just made the song ten times better

      Well Done Lupe!!!!!!!!

      Keep Hip Hop Alive

You Exposing What People Like Jimmy Iovine do to pollute our kids money all for the sake of profits…we have heartless men in this world yet they believe they god’s beloved

Keep It Real Lupe We Support You – These TRL, 106 & Park kids need to learn to be themselves and try not to immitate Kim Kardasian, Paris Hilton or Beyonce…Be Yourselves Little Girls

    15. Classic video, plain and simple. I liked the song before I saw the video but definitely didn’t think it was a masterpiece. But after seeing this video…..

    16. this is a good message but dont count on ross sambos of the world to stop dancing. they figure its either this or be broke blame the record labels for using them.

    17. First time I’ve seen some one with a minstrel show in their video. After watching this video, i thought of Malcolm X!! I love LUPE! best video of the year from the best rapper!!

    18. I dont even like Lupe that much, but this song and video was epic. Props to him for taking a stand.

    19. fuck this mr smarty-pants shit. it’s too complicated for me to understand and i dont wanna take the time to try and understand it so ima stick to wayne, waka, ross, mgk, and chief keef.

      1 out of 5 stars

      1. lolz … Exactly weak ass attempt at trolling …But you right a lot of these Tom Coonery brothers really think that way !

      2. You a nigga that want to hear that fake ass shit from a fake ass nigga that created this drug kingpin persona in his mind and started to believe that shit. So what does that say about you? That you full of shit.

    20. I dig it Welcome back Lupe well…. you never really left your production did so welcome back hip-hop (production) 5/5 (dope concept and message)

    21. good video. but people dont want to hear this. They want to hear some a fake nigga sing about his made up drug lord heist and how they the biggest dope dealer since Noreaga. That fake ass shit!

    22. Am I the only one that when they saw this video immediately thought of Nicki Minaj among other video girls and female rappers?
      hmmmmm…………..

    23. Great message. Terrible song.

Lupe used to have incredible wordplay and concept–now he’s just preaching to us over a lousy beat.

Think back to Paris, Tokyo and Little Weapon. This doesn’t even compare in terms of song and lyrical quality.

      1. The song isn’t for you to bop your head to or “musically” enjoy like those songs. Those songs are for fans who can understand that type of wordplay. “Bitch Bad” is for a broader audience, particularly kids as you see in the video. The beat is purposefully mocking the ones you hear on the radio today and not try to compete with that type of music but stay in its own lane.

      2. You can’t use “word play” for these ignorant niggaz. He made this song simple as possible so these niggaz would finally get it. Even the simplest things can be very complicated
