As said in the article, only a handful of rappers can do the one album thing. Wu and Bone are acts that can do this.
Agreed. Absolutely. I just wonder how small can this go? How many artists could do the same with a $500K album? A $50K album? I don’t know the answer to that question.
Thanks for the comment, P., and for checking the video.
I actually didn’t think Bone Thugs could’ve done it. Of course they’re legends, but they’re not on a Wu-Tang status. I’m glad they’re gonna be able to do it tho, happy for them guys.
Bone made “Crossroads.” “Crossroads” is not only one of the biggest songs of all time, but it also works as a modern church song. Thanks for the comment, BTMoney. I’m happy for them too.

I am curious to know how will this work. Will they sell the exclusive rights to that one copy? I also wonder with them splitting a million bucks the 4, after taxes would they have made more money going indie? Either way, interesting concept. I think Lebron is the one who put in that million bid. ha.
I think this is how every album should be sold. its really no different than a label signing a artist and giving them a million up front and then the artist paying it back through sales. The real big difference is now it is taking creative control from the label and giving it back to the artist. Now they can truly make the album they want and say ok who wants this cause really do you think there many other millionaires out there that are gonna buy one album not likely the buyers of these albums will be labels that are looking to turn around and make a profit off the hype that thesealbums are making by only having one copy. im willing to bet that both the bone and wu tang albums will see comercial releases from whoever buys them. but on the other hand by the artist having creative control again they no longer have the label as a scape goat if the album is bad in the past they could say the label made us do this or that and they changed the album. now if its good or bad it is all on the artist
In my opinion, BTNH are a better group than Wu-Tang. Don’t get me wrong, I love WU. But every Bone member has more skill than any WU member. BTNH are ORIGINATORS of a new and UNIQUE style. Much love BTNH. See you on Monda Aug 11 in NYC!!!!! BONE BONE BONE.

DX Daily is still on point. It’s a lot better than just reading them in separate sections.
