    1. man, was at the Prhyme concert and Premier made the excellent announcement of Royce’s sobriety. I wish the news covered positive shit like this that happens within hip hop instead of using it as a reason to explain racial behavior and negative impact within the community. Congrats Royce!

      1. Completely agree. That’s incredible, especially considering how lyrically crazy PRHYme is. A lot of artists have difficulty being creative substance free.

    2. man dx gets worse and worse at reporting “news” everyone knew L was gonna sign with the roc since the late ’90s… yet dx acts like this is something new… maybe they just take a lot of these young fans as dummies that don’t know what they’re talking about… which could be true based off some of the comments I’ve seen on this site

      1. Thank you for the comment. Sometimes it’s worth it to refresh people’s knowledge of Hip Hop history. I’m sure you can appreciate that, HipHop Since ’89.

    3. Congrats to Royce da 5’9 for three years of being sober. I still smoke weed, but It honestly helps control seizures for my epilepsy… but I gave up a heavy opiate addiction, which basically just overpowered all my other vices. For years I loved my booze and blow, but then next thing I know its been like two years without a drink and only because opiates just took over to the point of IV using. I have been clean from everything except weed for over the four years or so now… It was not an easy trip… So kudos to Royce da 5’9
