Am I the only person that caught the fact that he’s calling himself a “darkhorse” since his version is called “The Dark Horse.” That’s exactly what he is: a darkhorse, the underdog. j. cole aint freestylin yeah, but he gots the accapellas that kill any beat. matter of fact, he is the beat. and fuck a freestyle anyway. if you got it, you got it. accapella is how to put it down and keep it real. the beat just makes it better. XV is pretty sick, but there’s too much good hip hop competition to make this guy blow up.
