With all that’s going on in the world right now, Styles P uses his latest single “White Niggaz” to address racism.

Solid song. I like the fact that he starts of by pointing out that black-on-black homicides are a serious issue/ Let’s face it, an issue that the black community doesn’t like to address. But the N-word is such an ugly term. At some point it has to become removed from black folks vernacular. It’s a very confining and defining word. You can’t be positive and ambitious and use it in every other sentence, if not every sentence. A person is defined by the way they act. Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, and Eric Gardner all have one thing in common – they are LOWER-CLASS blacks, the very population within black Americans who are largely susceptible to police brutality and being targeted by racist whites. The N-word is a lifestyle perpetuated by low-class blacks. The only way to minimize exposure to government and racism is through education and promoting yourself economically. Walking up and down the street with your pants sagging calling each other the N-word is not the answer, and at some point, black folks have to hold these artists accountable for using the word repeatedly in song. You are how you act.
Well said. Folks need to realize all that ‘ohh, I used it as a brotherly( in the case of bitch as some sisterly way)’ way is nothing more than a fucking cowardly way to rationalize ignorance.
FOH, You idiots keep saying the black community doesn’t like to dress black on black crime that pure crap. Go to community centers or churches in any black neighborhood and you will find a majority of blacks concerned for them and their kids lives in general. THE DIFFERENCE IS when black on black crime happens and the killer is identified, they are sent to court tried and found guilty (just look how many black men are in jail for murder).
It’s justice not being served that gets blacks angry in these type of cops killing blacks crime. I’m sick of people generalizing blacks and saying we don’t care about black on black crime, many of us have been personally or have friends who’s relatives have been killed by black on black crime. WE CARE ALOT.
A group of white cops killed black kids and all of a sudden every white person is raciest again. I’m white and I don’t have a raciest bone in my body. We are all cut from the same cloth with the same DNA and in 2014 and as a person who has supported hiphop since puberty I take offence to this shit. Cops are cops no matter what color, always showing authority and profiling people. I think its a complete disgrace that these murdering cop bastards get away with MURDER but this is not a reflection of white people as a whole. Their is racists among every culture and color but to discriminate against anyone because of it is wrong and totally backwards. We will never move past anything as long as we blame others that had nothing to do with it. The only time I dislike a person is when I get bad vibes from them and that can be white people, black people, asian people and so forth and beyond. I’m tired of black rappers like J cole saying white people robbed hiphop. Thats a racist statement in itself especially when you look at the demographic of who purchases albums because its every color that supports hiphop.
