    1. Nobody cares about broke ass Nas’ new album. Fuck that lame! King HOV’s new album will be the best of the decade.

      1. It’s literally a Fugees sample tho, with nas on it rapping about ebony empresses and Africa. That’s bout as “real hip hop” as you can get. I hope you were trolling, otherwise idk what the fuck y’all niggas be wanting lol

      2. I agree, the trap sound is played out, but I don’t mind if someone is actually spittin’ over it and not doing autotuned mumbling.

    2. That one line Nas spit was the dopest thing I’ve heard in like 2 years, That one line is better than future, drake, fetty wap whole
      album.

    3. Sounds fresh as hell, I just hope whoever did some of that production on his last album on this one, Stay was one of Nas
      best songs ever.

    4. Nas never disappoints, I’m glad he still speaks about the real issues, that was a small sample of his album
but if its any indication of things to come this should be another amazing album from the greatest east coast rapper ever.

      1. Agree with you a little on that but maybe the beat changes up, even so didnt sound to bad, just hope he got some production like stay, wouldn’t understand, back when. That tracks from his last album made those songs classics to me personal.

    5. My dream guest features for a Nas al
Nas ft Az- Still Rising song about them still going for it as duo and being 2 of the coldest
Nas ft Krayzie Bone- Lost, something similar to just a moment
Nas ft freddie gibbs and common- Street of emergency, a political lyrical rant.
Nas ft Big Krit- What we need
Production 9th wonder, Big Krit, Static selektah, J Dilla, No ID, Justice league

          1. Thats a fucking dream team collab right there bro, all the dudes u mentioned would all compliment eachother on a track. We need a nas krayzie bone song, krit and gibbs are two of my favorite new school rappers. We need more dudes in hip hop that personify what those dudes bring to the table. Krayzie mentioned wanting to collab with nas, esco really needa make that happen.

    6. Khaled got hov, Nas, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Drake (hate him), future, big Sean, Ross, wale, jadakiss, fabolous, Gucci, French, nicki, breezy, jeezy, gotti, lil Wayne, busta, fat joe, YG, wiz khalifa, 2 chains, Bryson tiller, Travis Scott, and more…….I’m just saying the man got on his shit for major ?

    7. Sounds great.. Can’t wait. But why is everyone saying this beat sounds Trappy?? Really? A sample from the Fugees? Doesn’t sound trappy at all.

        1. I’ve heard very similar drum patterns way before trap music blew up.. But the game been flooded with so much trap music I guess everything sounds trappy.. Whatever lol

          1. When I say “trap”, I’m not referring to the EDM subgenre. I’m talking about the sh!t that was spawned by southern hip hop. You’re right, though. At this point, almost everybody and their momma’s momma’s momma’s favorite producer has mercilessly co-opted those drums. In this instance, though, I couldn’t care less. This particular jawn is a winner on all counts. Sh!t….BANGS.

    8. Fucking fire. This is why I can’t listen to new rappers they say are lyrical like Kendrick and J Cole. They could never rap on this level.

        1. A VOCAL sample over a trap beat is trap shit, pay attention. Beat is trash. NaS bodies the of a beat. Remix will be must.

    9. Don’t nobody want to hear Nas on a trap beat. Lyrics on point. But the soundtrack creates a soul-less, “me too” energy.

    10. Beat fits perfect to me, In the 90’s Nas use to have poor production are beats that just wasn’t pleasing to the ear.
Ever since Stillmatic his beats have been on point.

      1. You got it completely backwards..in the 90’s Nas had great production, ever since God’s Son his production has been horrible.

        1. I disagree with that, You didn’t like production on Life is Good, The N-gger Album, and Hiphop is Dead? I think No Id is the
perfect producer For him. I just didn’t like his beats in the 90s, go back in listen to Back when, and Stay from Life is good album.

    11. It’s still shit. I see DX deleted my original comment. Fuck all y’all! King HOV is still better than Nas. I Got the Keys >>> this bullshit.

    12. Lyrically nas has always been dope. But to me his beats are usually boring. He sounds nice on this shit right here. ???

      1. Nas had 4 albums in the 90’s,stillmatic dropped in 2000’s. one wack album Nastradamus. illmatic and it was written was ahead of its time any many other rappers followed it blueprint for ryhming and song ideas. Sound of hip changed 96 with Bad boy/ Jay-z era more pop. after Nastradamus Nas don’t drop album until stillmatic. So wack beats no , different eras in hip hop know your history. Era’s have differents Sounds Nas did not want to sell out to POP era where rappers where so non lyrical.

        1. Nobody is trying say Nas is not dope he’s prob the greatest of all time, I’m a Nas fan but people have a point his
production in the 90s wasn’t pleasing to the ear. You can’t force people to like the production he had I’m a fan of his
I think the majority of his beats where wack up untill 2000’s. No ID, Justice League, are the best producers for Nas, Life is Good
was a underrated album to me. Stay is one of my all time fav Nas tracks

          1. I don’t get what u saying how do you have the best album of all time “Iillmatic” with wack beats?? Trackmasters were like the hottest production team in he 90s they were all over it was written I think that’s just your opinion alone as far as his production in he 90s most ppl refer to his albums in the 2000s when they talk about his beat selection you sound lost

            1. Naw you sound in denial, butt hurt cause some one doesn’t agree with you. I’ve heard plenty of fans say Nas beats weren’t good in the 90’s. Just because trackmasters was hot that doesn’t mean that it was good, by your definition hot means dope
so you think fetty wap and gucci are dope??? Popularity is not a indication of quality. No ID and Justice league are better than
trackmasters imo. You sound lost and hurt because someone else opinion differs from yours.

            2. Naw you sound in denial, butt hurt cause some one doesn’t agree with you. I’ve heard plenty of fans say Nas beats weren’t good in the 90’s. 13. dudes can’t say nothing about his skills so some one always gotta say his beats. Like really? Nas done work with the best producers in the game. Do you think this man could survive and been relevant all these years at his age with bad beats. Stop hating, the man don’t follow the trend and actually set the trend if you pay attention to style and rhymes. he just don’t copy who evers hot and its not going to be club beats and jingles with no lyrics. Its music you feel and comprehend get over it.

      1. This beat is good to me, but in the 90s Nas beats were not good at all, ever since Stillmatic his beats have been good. Hopefully we get a heavy dose of No ID, Justice League on this new album. I think No ID did Stay and Back when off Life is Good, those songs are classics.

    14. The beat is kinda weird with the trappish snares, hihats and 808s. The sample is fuckin fire tho. Nice to hear new Nas. Nas never disappoints tbh. Cant wait for the album, Hopefully there will be a ton of No ID and Justice League production on it.

    15. We can argue all day about his beats, I think we all agree that he is a all time great and one of the reason the Golden era was the Golden era. for all young kids that don’t know what the Golden era is it’s a era in the 1990’s when the dopest rappers came out all around the same time. Nas, Tupac, Snoop, Bone Thugs, Outkast, Wu tang, Biggie, No way Drake would have survived that era

    16. Nas is dope! The lyrics and production is on point. When they can’t assassinate your lyrical skills, they attack the beats and Nas still shows he is a unique creative force on the mic….EEFORTLESSLY! Nas was born to rap and push the hip hop culture to another level by doing so!

    17. Whoa!!! What the fuck, bruh?!!! Shit gave me fucking chills!!! How the fuck u rappers letting a muhfucka that’s my dads age destroy u like this?!!! Niccas need to be copying this instead of Future!!!

      1. There is no such thing as greatest rapper alive, always going to be different opinions and different arguments. Nas is
def one the all time greats in hiphop, but to flat out say he’s better than kendrick or Big krit I don’t agree with that. As fans we would rather debate who’s better than who instead of just enjoying the music.

    18. If Nas drops a classic next album then

      I CROWN HIM THE GOAT!!!

There is no other rapper from the 90s that is still relevant like him

He still has the ears of the youth

He still has the ladies on lock (Minaj)

He still raps circles around most rappers who ever lived.

His has one of the most distinct voices in hip hop

He still has the ear of the street and concious crowds.

He still looks like he is in his late 20s (lol)

To me he is currently top 3 greatest behind Rakim and Pac

      1. I get what your saying, but their are a lot of rappers from the 90’s that are still relevant
E40, Jay Z, Snoop, Outkast, Bone thugs, Wu tang, lil wayne. Me personally I don’t think he needs another classic
to be consider one of the goats. I also have to disagree Nas def does not have the ears of the youth at all, the
youth is out here listen to drake, fetty wap, gucci, kevin gates. The people that listen to Nas are similar to me, real hiphop head
that wants to be enlighten, wanna hear some want intelligent spit. I really hope this new Nas album doesn’t have future on it

    19. my starting five
      solo- Tupac-Nas-LL cool J-Common-Rakim
      Groups- Outkast-Bone thugs-Wu tang-PE-Run Dmc
      Hustlers- Master P-Diddy-Eazy E-50 cent-Jay Z

    20. Nas is a LEGEND !! Nas is O’G in the GAME..I salute !! Big-ups to Rakim and Tupac !! Nas is killing the vibes..Legend do album once in a blue moon but it’s sells in all the states
