The CDQ version of MC Hammer’s “Too Tight” was unearthed recently. In the vintage Death Row offering, which was written by Tupac Shakur and recorded in Dr. Dre’s Record One studios, the Bay Area pioneer kicks lyrics like “A bunch of immature squares using bad grammar / I hit the city and hear them scream ‘You the man,…
That track flipped the heck out of the Skin tight song…and it’s Pac delivery…Pac could have got away with the song…Hammer would need a video …and although corny hit for either one…cause of the track
Been recored 20 years ago
It’s alright
Look at Michell’e all on pacs nuts, that bish was a groupy to the fullest!
Its not Michell’e, But Natasha Walker 😉
Sorry, it is Nancy Fletcher.. lol.. not michell’e or natasha walker
That is Michelle next to pac. Nanci is in the booth recording her vocals. You can clearly hear Nanci saying hi michelle. As for Pac recording the whole track, obviously he did…you can tell there is two verses there from the video. Pac recorded this whole song just like he recorded Unconditional Love which was later given to Hammer to re-record.
God this is just begging for 2pac’s cadence. His voice was truly unique.
Sounds just like that West Side
Connection, Nate Dogg, Snoop Dog, PAC and Hammer… It is the 90’s feel! No disrespect from me! Actually it sounds okay even though we are now in 2016. I miss those days actually… Rap was much better!
It just sounds like anything on All Eyez On Me. Pretty corny, but I had zero expectations.
What do you mean “anything on All Eyez On Me?”
All Eyez On Me is a 2Pac album. This song sounds like the songs on that album. Except with MC Hammer rapping 2Pac’s lyrics.
You can tell its 2pac’s flow and delivery. I wonder if Pac ever recorded the whole song for Hammer to hear how it should go.
Based on the video included in this story, I have a feeling he did.
Of course he did. That’s how ghost writing works. The writer writes it and records the track so that the artist knows how it’s supposed to flow.
So, does that mean Quentin Miller didn’t ghostwrite for Drake? Because the reference track by Quentin sounds nothing like Drake.
You can hear the pac influence. He could’ve created some pretty crazy artists if he kept writing and showing people the tricks of the trade
Great track delivery quite amazing Pac’s style.
LMFAO 2pac and Hammer the poprapper. 2pac should be ashamed
Your an idiot. He’s got the highest selling hip hop album ever and they were friends from back in the day.
The only thing that wasn’t Too Tight around Death Row at the time was Michel’le
