    1. SHIT IS HARD!

vinnie and jus killed this. the 2 tracks i heard are VERY reminiscent of VBD. not so much the beats, but the way these cats are spitting on the mic. say the craziest shit you can say over the hardest beats. that was VBD in a nutshell to me. i miss stoupe like everyone else but they’re going to be just fine.

    2. Its never gonna be the same without stoupe

Not hating but JMT without Stoupe sounds Exactly like an AOTP release, which is neither an insult nor a compliment, just an observation

As for the track, its dope for what it is, 4/5 but Stoupes production was what gave JMT there diversity, his music would switch from Epic Samples to soft strings to all kinds of weird influences and that made them Unique, without him its just another “Punch you in the face” mad at the world group, and we have dozens already

But Whatever, I’ll stop complaining and accept it for what it is, not bad at all

      1. i agree

but what is stoupe doing RIGHT now?

they kept it together as long as they could. stoupe is a maniac. he’s doing coffehouse jazz records, trip hop, opera type shit with female vocalists. from what i hear, he kinda gave vin the cold shoulder. wasn’t available. wasn’t into it.

i know everyone misses stoupe, but would you prefer vinnie and jus stop working cuz stoupe is done? fans are difficult to please.

      2. I do not think they should stop working….but would gangstarr have been gangstarr if DJ premier stopped producing the records…hypothetically obviously…no it would be guru spitting over other peoples beats…I just do not know why they would still call themselves Jedi Mind Tricks…With all that said. I am pumped for this album. Fuckin love Vinnie.

      3. @ TRT

I feel ya, its nobodies fault, just an unfortunate situation because however much Vinny might wanna deny it, Stoupe WAS the sound of Jedi and without him its like hearing Cypress Without Muggs, or Wu Tang without RZA or Naughty by Nature without KayGee, I’m not taking anything away from the MCS, but its just not the same

I’ll still listen tho, like I said its a dope track, just sounds more like a Dope AOTP track then a JMT track and thats just how I feel, nothing I can do about that

    3. im fed up of hearing it aint the same without stoupe..gtfoh, who cares about a beatmaker! those days are long gone suckas.
vinnie is vinnie, this other cat that came back is phucking up the group more than stoupe being gone.
i live and die by vinnies words, i dont care who produced a track unless its preemo

      1. ^^^^^

Who cares about a beatmaker, are you serious??

A beatmaker is 50% of the song, what the fucks the matter with you???

Stoupe was more then just a “Beatmaker” anyway, the samples he used set the mood for alot of those albums and they helped Vinnys writing, thats why he had Deep joints like “Razorblade Salvation” and “Uncommon Valor” and “Shadow Buisness” on SIHKIH

Not Everyone who liked JMT only liked it for Vinny’s Angry Pro Islamic Rants and “BRRRRAAAAPPPPP” adlibs, without Stoupe there he’s starting to get real monotonous

Heavy Metal Kings = An Hours Worth of Being Pissed off

Violence Begets Violence is shaping up to be the same thing with Jus filling in for Ill Bill

Vinny needs stoupe like Guru needed Primo or like B Real needs Muggs, without someone there to tell him “Damn Vinny, didnt you just say the same shit on the last song” he’s just gonna keep repeating himself like a Parrot

      2. who cares about a beatmaker…?

u sayin who cares about the man who writes the music..?

its MUSIC u fool the beat is 80 % of the track

    4. I was worried about another album with Jus Allah. He sounded like straight ass on the last album. Sounds like he cleaned it up a bit, which is cool. I’m not too optimistic about an album without Stoupe, his touch on the album will be missed. But if the rest of the album is like this then it’ll be straight. Bring Stoupe back!!!

    5. this is dope… it’s different but it’s still some GOOD MUSIC… just like Meth, Rae and Ghost are dope without Rza, Vinnie and Jus Allah are dope without Stoupe
