    1. J.Cole, Lupe, Wale, Kanye, Wayne, T.I., Gucci, Jay, Eminem, Lloyd Banks, 50.
      Hip Hop Livin Nas.
Big Sean Stand up. Tyga Stand up.
I’ve never been so impressed with where hip/hop and rap are going.
Underground is strong, Mainstream is strong,
West Coast is up, South is up, East is up,
      North raise your dubs up.
Take this shit in people we are listening to a lot of talent.

      1. Why? He cover’s an area of rap, He’s a good entertainer and creative, Style may seem wack but atleast he’s making moves.
I mean I could add an infinite amount of names doing things, Forgot about Cudi who may be just as creative as Kanye, Forgot about Game who may be just as lyrical as Jay. Shit I’m not even mentioning underground. I’m saying Gucci stay’s on that list because he contributes and doesn’t imitate. Somebody get me some god damn lemonade.

      2. If you want to cover an area, particularly the south and you’re looking for creative, how the hell did you miss Outkast or either Big Boi or Andre individually?

Gucci is creative? Yeah, like Soulja Boi was the first to create a stupid song and dance to go with it.

    2. man this ni99a gives me a boner everytime i hear him spit. he’s one of those ni99a’s that give me hope that hip hop wont die

    3. Cole never ceases to amaze me. Great week for young King Cole. Murdered a Kanye feature, announced a tour with drake in January, and releasing Friday Night Lights in 2 days!! Cole is on the verge of blowing up into the Superstar he deserves to be.

    4. I had high hopes for Wale after his mixtapes…only to release a garbage album and go totally pop doing songs with Jaba Wacka Flamer or whatever the hell his name is. PLEASE DON”T LET ME DOWN J. COLE!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T GO POP!!!!

    5. I’m feeling it… I feel like this dude gonna lead the way to another golden era. Been hoping to live through one, it might just come.

    6. great lyracist needs to work on the hooks…hook is pretty shabby. Sorry but hooks are what sell records…if not he can keep rapping for the blogs.

      1. J Cole can make great fukin hooks:

        show me something
        Ladies
        I Get Up
        Hold it down

countless others. he didn’t use on e on this song because its not a single its for a muxtape! pay attention

    7. cole fuckn world…. that mixtape is hopefully gonna be better than The Warm Up… bcuz warmup was better then Come Up… this dude keeps puttin out good shit tho…

    8. come on j. cole take it easy on em. straight killing the competition.

keep the heat coming, and keep hip-hop pulsating. HIP HOP IS WELL AND ALIVE.

imagine a collab with J.Cole, Jay, Kanye, and Lupe WOW I feel this coming in the near future

    9. ty dx for recognizin jcole and makin him your main page news just for songs. easily 5*, cole world takin over.

    10. ohm, and forgot to say that jcole is the best young producer out there. nas lyrics, jay flow, producin like kanye.

    11. Im tired of all yall idiots saying “Wow you just revived Hip-Hop with this one”. Shit Hip-Hop never died yall just think mainstream shit is hip-hop and dont look for real shit. Anyways Dope song.

    12. I gotta keep it 1 hunit and i’m not hating on dude but why people people keep saying “he bringing hip hop back”. He not even close to the lyricism niggaz use to spit back then. I respect the fact that he is trying be lyrical but in my opinion, he not witty wit his shit.

    13. cole dat dude i just started fuckin with this cat.no homo. n im feeling his shit.no homo.banks and cole my top 2 niggaz i bump .no homo

    14. Nothing against him, but I don’t see anything that makes him a “fresh air to the industry”.

I mean… he produces and spit something. Who doesn’t? Sure his tracks are way, way better than Soulja Boy, but… it’s not too much hype?

Resume: Kid Cudi 2, with producing skills and a normal voice.

      1. I honestly don’t see how you can’t see it. Listen to the song again and DL Friday Night Lights on Friday. These lyrics are what the game needs. Matter of fact, DL ALL his tapes.

Fuck being better than Soulja Boy. IMO He’s way better than Wale, Wiz Khalifa, XV and a whole lotta other niggas that get too much hype. Cole is not overhyped. He’s as amazing as everyone says.

Now if you’re comparing him to Lupe or Shad, then I can see how you wouldn’t like him as much, but against these other “mixtape” rappers he’s above and beyond.

      2. Cool, man… but I don’t think that if I listen to more 3 songs, my opinion is gonna change.

Wale and Wiz Khalifa are on pop shit. That’s comic… but this dude… he sounds forced, know what I talkin about?
I’d rather listen to some electro rap shit.

      3. I really don’t know what you mean by electro rap, but maybe you should try Simba or Who Dat. If you don’t like those then we’ll just have to agree to disagree. Who DO you like?

      4. I was joking about the actual situation of rap, but I do like eletronic inspired beats. More than the usual, know what I mean?

And I just love UGK. I love storytelling with a nice beat. That’s what I enjoy. Thanks for the concern.

    15. Beats! Beats! Beat!

    16. jay motherfucking cole god damn. i cannot wait for friday night lights this guy is my favorite rapper right now, how the fuck cant you like him he gives everything you would want on a rap track

    17. Damn this song is perfect. Beat and lyricism is incredible. Did this dude really make this beat cuz its too damn good.

    18. he is our future hip hop fans, please embrace this mother fucker….he is about to put all these new losers (wale, souljaboy, kid cudi, tyga) out of a job….this kid is going to be a king

    19. J Cole is cool but in my humble opinion heads just escalate any rapper that dont rap like soulja boy. Yeah he can put together a sentence but the rhymes just not that interesting to me. Its a lotta lyrical cats still rappin you just aint heard of or done forgot about. In my opinion dude wont make it, not because he doesnt deserve to, but just because obviously heads dont buy the music either or demand it on radio, or it would be more real rap at the top of the billboard charts.

      1. It’s sad that I might agree. Although he’ll still have a successful career doing shows, and possibly writing and producung for others, he may not “blow”. The only “real emcees” who see mainstream success are the ones who came out in an earlier era; Jay, Nas, Snoop, etc.
Very good emcee, and hopefully, he proves you wrong!

      2. I think there is a misconception of real rap and a dude who can put a song together and have a concept to it. Yes there may be a bunch of lyrical guys that are better than him, but they can’t make good music. The most lyrical dudes don’t write on concepts, they think it is about using an overload of metaphors. I think he will be fine because he can make music and has the ability to touch different on subject matter.

    20. I BELIEVE COLE HAS THAT SOUL AND SUBSTANCE TO HIS MUSIC. OTHERS MAY BE MORE LYRICAL, HOWEVER, COLE IS LYRICAL, SUBSTANCE, AND PRODUCE. HE IS FASTLY BECOMING ONE OF TRUE HIPHOP ARTIST OF THIS GENERATION!!!

    21. I dig J Cole but his fans are mad gay. Mostly, his fans are Kanye dick riders and wiz khalifa types dudes. most of his fans dont know real hip hop but im starting to like him because if the dude is good, ill recognize him. ive heard him better than this before. 3/5

      1. get the ”The Warm up” befoer you say anything you have no clue about. this nigga making good music working his ass off i support that fakkit. stoping bitchin for no reason. he has substance, depth, originally plus produces his own shit. hes getting bigger and bigger also.

    22. real talk, cole is real talk :P. nuffffff potential in cole to str8 up change the game still, alie? hope dis dude blow up still

    23. this nigga rashes on them soulful beats..you are currently listening to the best out. No Lie his subject matter is always on some REAL shit. Real niggas can relate.

    24. produces like a fuckin veteran…I mean damn I haven’t heard a bad sounding track produced by him once and that’s no lie. flow just combines with the beat like a double helix man…only other rapper in our generation that can do that is Blu

    25. wow… finally some real fucking hip hop…young money destroying hip hop fuck drake fuck nicki minaj and fuck wayne we need more rappers like cole, i can see why jay signed this dude
