Kendrick Lamar surprised some fans by recruiting U2 for his DAMN.album but the final product — “XXX.” — proved this unexpected collaboration worked well. Now, K. Dot has returned the favor by contributing to the band’s latest single “Get Out Of Your Own Way.”
Listeners hoping to hear Kendrick spitting flames are out of luck though. Instead of rapping, Kung Fu Kenny provides a spoken word outro for the record. The song will appear on U2’s upcoming album Songs of Experience, which drops on December 1.
