HipHopDX Premiere: After taking a brief hiatus, Philadelphia-based recording artist Kir has returned with a fiery new single, “Around Me.” As he addresses haters on the fast-paced banger, Kir delivers an anthem for anyone on the come up.
“I made the song from past experiences I’ve faced,” the 23-year-old rapper said in a press release. “It’s all about the bad energy I had floating around me … haters, fake friends, you name it. I’m in a better space now, and this song is a testament to that.”
