HipHopDX Premiere: Experimental duo CAPYAC (P. Sugz and Potion) is back with a new single, “Fade Out” featuring Austin rapper RuDi Devino. The song was written in Berlin after they finished their European tour.

Drawing influences from electronic music, Hip Hop and R&B, CAPYAC is in a league all its own. Both musicians consistently tap into their wild imaginations to craft complex soundscapes and intriguing narratives.

“We laid the foundation for the track with Papa Mongoose at our studio in Berlin, and it wasn’t until we returned stateside that we contacted RuDi Devino,” Potion explains to HipHopDX. “And even once we reached him it still took a series of encrypted letters and secret meetings before he was convinced to go ahead with the track. I don’t blame him though.

“Some say he masterminded the bank heist in Fortaleza,” he continues. “He’s also suspected in the 2010 heist at the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris where thieves made off with $160million in stolen paintings. I’d say he’s a pretty fucking busy guy. Anyway, once he agreed, a few months passed and his verse just appeared in our Dropbox.”
