While people were busy freaking out that NBC News correspondent Jenna Bush Hager called Hidden Figures “Hidden Fences” while interviewing Pharrell Williams at the Golden Globes, celebrated producer Danger Mouse, primarily known for his work with CeeLo Green and MF Doom, was enjoying a nomination for the Iggy Pop song, “Gold,” which earned a nod for Best Original Song.

The aging punk rock idol and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer slows it way down to deliver the title track for the Matthew McConaughey film of the same name and they managed to oddly complement one another. The song doesn’t have an inkling of Danger Mouse’s Hip Hop tendencies, but whatever—it’s still cool to see what he’s been doing as of late. Gold hits theaters nationwide on January 27. Listen to the song above.
