Using snippets of Beastie Boys’ “Shake Your Rump,” U-God‘s latest single, “Venom,” finds the Wu-Tang Clan vet littering the musical landscape with his laid-back flow. The song begins with him talking about “trying to get it right” presumably with his Wu-Tang brethren. The singles comes in the midst of headlines announcing a pending lawsuit between U-God and Wu-Tang. Clearly undeterred, he’s preparing to drop a new album in early 2017 entitled Venom. Listen to the title track above.
