As Run The Jewels—El-P and Killer Mike—preps its Run The Jewels 3album, the duo has shared a new single in the form of “2100,” which features additional help from the highly sought after producer BOOTS (Beyonce, FKA Twigs).
The somber track was shared in the wake of the devastating results of the presidential election and came with a note that read, “[This is] for everyone who is hurting or scared right now. It feels right now. It’s about fear and it’s about love and it’s about wanting more for all of us.”
Mike raps, “How long before the hate that we hold lead us to another Holocaust,” an excellent question for the current times. Listen above.
