HipHopDX Premiere: Indie Hip Hop label Fake Four, Inc. has been home to everyone from Freestyle Fellowship’s Myka 9 and Awol One to Astronautalis and Busdriver. Co-founder Ceschi Ramos is a prolific musician in his own right and comes through with producer (and frequent collaborator) Factor Chandelier for the single, “Take It All Back (Parts 1-4).”

Their 2015 collaborative album Broken Bone Ballads is considered a “cult-folkhop” classic in certain circles. Now, Ceschi and Factor have created a rare multi-genre, four-part song about things like elections, nostalgia, and general modern apathy.

“The song is a four-part mini EP that happens during a single four-minute track,” Ceschi tells DX. “It’s an erratic, anger-fueled cycle of bass heavy Hip Hop and punk-driven indie rock focused on the current election, modernity, false prophets, and the constant revolving question of worldviews.”

Ceschi and Factor are currently on tour with Astronautalis. Check out tour dates below and download “Take It All Back (Parts 1-4)” here.
