The name DeJ Loaf has been on the tongues of plenty of people as of late. Over the past few weeks, the Detroit artist has shared the singles “Miami,” “Phone Down,” and “Snakes,” in addition to the All Jokes Aside mixtape she released in April. As she puts the finishing touches on her upcoming debut album, she’s shared the next single, “Beef N Broccoli,” named after the popular Timberland colorway.
With production credits going to Carrington, Keithen, and Jeff Gitty, the track finds her in a mellow mood as she sings (raps?) about wanting to escape from everyday stress, mounting pressure, and “turning to the bottle to drown depression.”
