NBA World Champion Iman Shumpert is engaged to his baby mama Teyana Taylor, but rumors have been running rampant that allege Shumpert is a cheater rather than the loyal guy he portrays.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Shumpert captioned a photo, “I was young. I was selfish. I’ve broken hearts and been insensitive to them. I never really cared what the Internet said of me until now and it’s not because they’re antagonizing me…they are now directing hate toward a woman that gives off nothing but positive energy and deserves nothing more than the world that I vow to give her.”
While this points to him owning up to prior indiscretions, he never did confirm if he, in fact, has cheated on his current love. Taylor posted a simple Instagram photo clearly backing her man.
In response to the malicious internet rumors, he penned the single “His Story,” exclusively premiered by Karen Civil, to set the record straight. Produced by Ca$h Clay, a sample from Kanye’s “Faded” cleverly permeates the track.
