As M.I.A. prepares to unleash her new album, A.I.M., on Friday (September 9), she’s shared the track “Foreign Friend” featuring Dexta Daps.
The track premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show Wednesday afternoon (September 7), where the rapper also sat for an interview detailing her trips to the Himalayas and Jamaica, where she met and recorded with Daps. She also explained the influence behind her album, which she agreed revolved around many of her experiences traveling the world. She has released songs with Diplo (“Bird Song”) and ZAYN (“Freedun“) off the project as well.
