The third track released from King Pharaoh Jackson’s debut album, King Pharaoh’s Prelude is “Ghetto.” It was written as an ode to the plight of African Americans living in poor economic situations, who are simply trying to make it out and make a better life for themselves, but being plagued by injustices, stereotypes, and civil unrest. Chris Brown’s vocals serve as a voiceover on the track. Jackson’s first single from the album, “Amnesia,” premiered earlier this summer.
