Chicago’s own brandUn DeShay drops a Japanese/R&B crossover tune titled “Gomen Nasai.”

Gearing up for brandUn DeShay’s sequel album goldUn Child: 2 releasing end of this year, he continues the momentum with a new single inspired by love lost and his time in Japan.

The song features production by Bobby Johnson, the producer behind Beyonce’s “7/11” and Que’s “OG Bobby Johnson.” This is a rare kind of concept to combine Hip Hop/R&B with Japanese lingo: “Gomen Nasai” means “I’m Sorry” in Japanese. It’s a party record that works just as well for radio.
