HipHopDX Exclusive Premiere: Reason releases his well-anticipated mixtape titled “Proof.” The project is structured similar to Lil Wayne’s “Dedication” mixtape series in which Reason is jumping on other artists’ beats and showing what he would do if he had the instrumental. Reason explains “Proof” as his message to the West Coast rap game that he can compete with the best of MCs in any beat genre.
This project features appearances from West Coast natives Joe Moses, A Roc, Xian from Crenshaw, and OMMIO‘s Leswood. Reason has been locked in all year dropping his second project of the year following a successful project in “The Free Album.” Reason explains that the “Proof” is not an official project, but a small body of work for his fans to thank them for all their support.
