HipHopDX Exclusive Premiere: In just a short time, Brian Marc, A.K.A. Sene, has established himself as a face to watch in film. He most recently completed shooting a recurring arc on the Marvel/Netflix series Luke Cage. He also guest-starred in an episode of the hit TNT series, Major Crimes. You can also see him in the Lionsgate thriller Nerve opposite Emma Roberts and Dave Franco, in theaters now. As well as his work as an actor, Sene comprises one-half of the underground electro-soul duo Denitia & Sene. White Girl is Sene’s film debut.
Now, Brian releases his new project titled The Extraordinary Pleasure of Being Someone Else. The new material is his first under his government name and has a different vibe, mixing Hip Hop with spacey electronic production and some singing.
Be sure to check out the trailer to White Girl, which is being compared to Larry Clark’s KIDS in its edgy portrayal of race/gender/sexuality/white privilege among NYC youth.
