HipHopDX Exclusive Premiere: Chicago-based upstart, That Kid Ewill delivers his new single “Drugz,” that is featured on his upcoming EP dropping later this year . Ewill first came on the scene in 2013 dropping his single “Sweet Dreams,” which led to him performing on BET’s 106 & Park and being the opening act of the BET Tour in the same year. Over the last few years, he’s worked on rebranding himself along with blending numerous genres together. He considers his music to be in its own lane and coins it as “Hippy-Pop” genre.
Ewill wrote “Drugz” to represent him and the people he kicks it with. He was in the studio and came up with the idea of turning his lifestyle into a hit. With the help of producer K Swisha, the record “Drugz” was born.
