San Francisco rapper Larry June taps fellow Bay native G-Eazy for “3rd Girl,” the second single from his Orange Season project, following “Game For You” with Chuck Inglish. In recent months, Larry June’s been featured stand-out tracks on releases by fellow artists Post Malone and Cousin Stizz, the latter of which he just concluded a short East Coast tour run with. Larry June’s Orange Season project, produced in full by Cookin Soul (credits: YG, Nipsey Hussle), will release as a free download via SoundCloud this week.
“G-Eazy and I have been talking for a while about doing a song. We’ve been knowing each other since Myspace when I was 15-16 years old, around 2006,” Larry June states. “With the Cookin Soul production, it’s different from the tapes I put out last year. I started off making more chill music and I kinda wanted to bring that back to the table for people who didn’t know I make that kinda music too.”
