Mardi shares a new track titled “Living Young,” a remix to Da-P’s “First To Know.”
The R&B and soul-infused track, laced with vocals from Tryphaena Noelle, finds the Houston native reminiscing on his younger days before the hardships of maturity.
Mardi recounts run-ins with trouble, shacking up at his mom’s crib and disappointments with women. The slowing-moving synth lines weave well with the vivid lyrical narrative, providing the perfect portrait of old throwback moments when we were all “Living Young.”
The song will be featured on his forthcoming project, August The Ride, which is slated for a summer release.
