Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo may have split some fans preferences down the middle but few will argue that “30 Hours” is one of the top-tier records on the album.

Since starting his successful rap site DDotOmen.com a little more than seven years ago, the D.C. Hip Hop aficionado has never left his childhood passion of being in the booth alone.
“I still get the itch from time to time and songwrite or co-write and producing for other artists these days,” he says of his decision to face the “30 Hours” beat head on. “I was in the studio with Mike G while he was working on doing some mixtape work. I put some headphones on to kill time and by the time he was done I was ready to hop in the booth and do this.”

Watching 8 Mile lit the fire in DDot to be enamored with battle and freestyle culture and led him down a path that would eventually pit him inside rap industry circles.
“I wandered off from “being” a rapper after DDotOmen.com started taking up a lot of my time and focused on behind the scenes of the industry. Mainly my ConnecteDDots Management company (Sonya Teclai, Mike G, COURTNIE, AngelGold, Ta’East, Arch Tha Boss),” he continued.
