Leaf of Trust comes by way of Doha, Qatar, made up of Egypt-born emcees Trak and Mars. Upon coincidental happenstances, the remix came about after the Bay area emcee performed at Bahrain last fall and linked with Status Booking manager Daemeon. After the manager ran into Leaf of Trust, the rest became history. The duo showcase their rhyming aptitudes with plenty local flair and manage to keep up with the song’s tempo and 40’s deliverance. “It wasn’t anything planned and I just happened to be introduced to Daemeon when he came down. He came by my in-home studio, we vibed up and during our conversation he played “Choices (Yup)” and showed me the video, which I hadn’t seen. A few weeks later, he asked if we would hop on the song. We wrapped it up and sent it back to him to forward to E-40’s management.”
