    1. how many songs is meek going to make/release to respond to back to back which was released last year?
this is not even that hard.

    2. Nice best song overall is cool but…. Your not saying anything that sticks or that makes me cringe. Unless the diss record is on Ether or Takeover levels Meek should just refrain all together.

      1. Yeah it was over when everyone found out Drake used a ghostwriter and needed reference tracks. Ohhhh pour baby, are you butt hurt?

      1. You should be laughing often, your a clown who lives with mommy. Want some milk? Only kids and gay guys like Drake. Which one are you?

      1. you’re the biggest fucking clown that had ever graced hhdx, smh, ny don’t even rock with you, smh salute to the lame.

    3. 3/5

Beat was on point. Bars was on point. Can’t get all the way behind it because clearly someone told meek what topics was going to be on “Summer Sixteen” End of the day, Drake dropped subtle gems, dissing Meek, Torey Lanez and the Weekend.

      1. What kind of logic is that? lmao! So you co-sign Drake using a ghostwriter but you don’t co-sign the ghostwriter telling him it was coming? You young dudes are funny.

    4. a little too late Weak Mill……should have dropped that months ago you big dummy #omellywillbeslappedbygunit #trust

    5. Not a meek mill fan or a drake fan but…….. a Real Hip Hop Fan and this shit is Fire! People Stop hating give credit when its due!

    6. I dont understand how real niggas can support this shit? It’s obvious someone leaked the content of Drake’s Summer 16 to Meek days before it dropped. I can’t support this shit it’s like a football game where the offensive coordinator of one team leakes the teams playbook to the opposite team and the opposing team wins and act like they the shit. Nahh some of yall got the game fucked up. This shit ass.

      1. What? You’re dumb as fuck. Why would that have any bearing on who had the better record? This ONE record is 5x better than all three Drake disses combined. This is what real hip-hop sounds like. All you R&B/Pop fans trying to comment on a rap beef can get the fuck out of here. Drake is not a rapper, he has however entered himself into a rap beef, and has now quite certainly taken the L. Take that Drake fanboy BS back to the Disney Channel.

    7. This beat is FIRE…….but nobody cares about how “hard” Meek Mill thinks he is, and why in the fuck is he still talking about Drake?? Dude really got his feelings hurt

    8. This shit is DOPE !!!!!!!!!!!
Both the DC4 ep’s are DOPE..

      Keep dropping fire Meek..
The streets are rooting for you..

    9. I’m 28 and definitely not gay. But “Congratulations, you played yourself.

The point I’m trying to make is the track was solid. He even put his cousin Omelly on it for more authenticity. My only problem is the underhanded tactics on Meeks end. How the fuck did he know what Drake was going to say on Summertime Sixteen. I’m pretty sure as well Drake wrote that shit too, just as much your sure he didn’t. But I guess when you down by 20, you do anything for some points. Overall, it was just a typical meek track, nothing new heard, no punchlines just a whole lot of braggadocio that I heard from a 100 other rappers. That’s why Drake is going to come out on top because, he could do the same shut, but better. More low key, mixed in with a hook here, and a uppercut there. And by the way ya boy Meek throw them hands, he lost already Bruv!

    10. Meek is an idiot for this. When will he realize you cant beat social media. Social media won this beef for drake. If the groupies and stans didnt have an outlet like Twitter to express their idiocy then this beef would be fae closer than it actually is. Meek can drop a sick ass diss and no matter what social media will shit on it.

    11. Meek back to his old state of mind, he been listening to diddy, Ross and them other suckers telling him to leave it alone and be the bigger artist but this is what the people the fans want to hear from meek

    12. This Drake / Meek Beef all comes down to Intelligence. Meeks just not as Bright.

Example: You know you’ve been searching all day trying to hear that Summer Sixteen joint! Copyright what?!

Almost actually bought a song for the first time in years. Lol

    13. Thumbs up meek for not backing, I wish you more bars to murder all your haters and make sure that their fans never heard from them……… Amen.

      1. Not to a suburban, lame, geek, nerdy, sucker like you who’ll never understand Meeks street music cause you ain’t street and you ain’t real, you soft like drake

      2. LMAO tell em why you madddd my g get off the hiphopdx comments n go out in these streeeeets and listen to that generic ass shit gangsterrrrrrrrrr

      3. I notice whenever someone states the Truth and it hits a nerve in you spineless cowards in the comments, y’all always respond with lmao and ask if a dude is mad, that’s a cop out Lil bih, cause all real mofos no you can’t detect emotions from typed words dumb shit, now back to your Starbucks and tanning salons

      4. How does one hit nerves through computers? I said you were mad because of the amount of commas you used in your response…you felt the need to take the time out and write that so yes you are mad and yes I found it funny so I typed “lmao” in caps….keep typing like a real street dude though your doing a real convincing job…

    14. This was actually a good track, the Meek of old. That’s just it. It’s what you’d expect from Meek. Nothing new, just him going on the track. Beat was fire too. But here’s where you separate them both. While this was nice, after a week, it will lose steam. That Drake Summer 16, will be top 10.

    15. Meek already lost the war of words. Drake has him programmed. Drake says something now, and Meek immediately and desperately comes with a response, trying to save face for that shit last summer. It’s too late son. Take the L, and go about your business.

      1. You are obviously a kid who never had a fight or came up fighting, when raised in the hood the mentality is keep fighting til you win, you never accept a L especially from a soft ass nigga from Canada like drake who’s to easy to beat and meek just KO’d drake in round 2 with this joint

      2. It was a L to you cause as I stated your a suburban white kid, you never was rocking with meek anyway, I’m sure you never had a real fight and that your mom still buys and washes your underwear, also bet that your real name is a soft one like Aubry

      3. That was you getting extorted for your lunch money lol little pink boy, you little vaginas kill me, so soft and pink inside, you should post under the name Pinky

      4. Physical battle and verbal battle are two different things. This goes kinda hard but 6 months too late. Drake won the first round. If Meek came with this sooner he’d be up by 1 fo shizz. Drake 1 – Meek 0

      5. oooooooooooo ***flex bombs*** got me did you come up with that yourself gangster who posts on hhdx news articles? go back to the block gangster get off the internet do you know how corny you look tryna come off as a real one in the comments section of a hip hop website? Lmao but please, do respond gangster

    16. Once again, Canadians are trying to sweep under the rug the fact that Drake once again has used a ghostwriter but this time the ghostwriter didn’t let Drake slide with this corny move. This is why Canadians and Americans are so different. We have plenty of history in American. Good and the bad! We went through wars, made mistakes, corrected our mistakes, keep making mistakes, but we always question everything and will fight for what we believe in. Canadians just fake shit and go through life wanting to be Americans. Your rapper is fake. Your rapper uses ghostwriters and reference tracks. Your rapper is a pop act.

      1. You’re fucked in the head if you think anyone up here wants to be an American bud. You’re statement just shows us again how ignorant some Americans are. Also, show me some examples of Canadian “fake shit” as you put it. Also why do you think we don’t fight for what we believe in, where do you get your information from.

    17. This was garbage. Back to back crushed this cat and I don’t even like Drake. Pick and choosing his battles. I still remember when you duckedt Kendrick, claiming you aint a battle rapper. Go after Kendrick, but as I digress, when he said “you getting bodied by a singing nigga” the battle, war, whatever this is was over.

      1. Meek wouldn’t say he’s not a battle rapper.. He WAS a battle rapper tardy. Go to youtube and type in ‘meek millz vs’ and see. Not saying he was ever very well, but he was in fact a battler.

      2. I was referencing Drake. I should have made that more clear. I like Meek, but he letting drake get’em. Even Common killed Drake. In the summer, they are going to make a summer jam and end this weak beef.

    18. if you not basing anything on past events, this song is dope. Meek should make songs ans stay of twitter thats all, maybe he and Omelly can run up on whoever he has a problem with but not on social media.

    19. Drake shoulda left him alone….all this “he won this along time ago” is not the answer!!! LOL!!! Drake fans gotta accept the 6 FRAUD took an L on this one!!! Yall said he didn’t answer soon enough last time, this time it took 15 minutes, and he answered everything 6 FRAUD said!! Hows that for timing!!!

      1. Well…that’s what Drake did…6 MONTHS AGO. Meek mill…well…HAD NO RESPONSE. Now he comes with some shit 6 MONTHS LATER and admittedly states getting a “heads up”. Meek need to smarten up….looking desperate out here.

    20. The problem is meek is a street rapper and none of you suburban, grew up with a silver spoon in your mouth, online internet white boys understand street rappers, y’all like drake cause y’all grew up soft just like him, this song is fire and I’m glad meek stop listening to Nikki and got back to doing him, dissing a soft Canadian like drake is easy, just like it was for the kid that took y’all lunch money in school lol slap a light skin dude and he turn red!

      1. Don’t have no older brothers so I picked up a brick and smashed a head before I took a L, wasn’t throwing no shade just simply stating the difference in the demographics

      2. fair enough on the demographics tip, i am white but aware of white privilege after growing up in a somewhat diverse area and i withdraw my shade after the brick comment! haha damn! i’m glad i never beefed with you in real life! lmao

      3. And don’t get me wrong cause I know its some white kids that did grow up, had it rough and will put those hands on a dude savagely, but I was referring to the guys in the comments that was saying meek was wrong cause he got the heads up from Drakes ghost writer before the song dropped and responded with a diss song of his own, like the saying goes all is fair in love and war

      4. I’m from streets and tell u naw drake over stayed fruit but summer 16 killed meek again hands down I listen to both meek got bars in but wasn’t catch and nothing stuck but drake hold song stuck that Apple got all rights to it lol

    21. this is beef is about as wwe as it gets! i mean 15 minutes after drake drops “sweet sixteen” meek drops this? they’re probably chilling’ somewhere laughing at these comments, saying shit like, “these people will believe anything these days!” smh, but one another note, the track and ep were hot though…..

      1. Drakes ghost writer sold him out and gave meek the heads up smh you boys are stupid AF and can’t see what really went down

      2. i’m quite aware of the “snitching ghost writer,” as he says it in the song lol. something tells me that is meek’s “alibi” for when people like myself question the authenticity of the beef. at least i just don’t take everything at face value like you, but to each their own….

      3. imagine if the ghost writer didnt leak the track, or if he didnt get it from someone hating in his camp… meek woulda been toast. so that says a lot.. the man is weak sauce screamin on track. its simple.
