    1. This is not an unreleased Nas song.. It’s just a different beat. The Last Real N***a Alive was released in 2002 on Nas Godson album. And the original is much better. This beat doesn’t fit. Clearly the people over at hip hop dx don’t know what’s goin on in hip hop lol. Get your facts together.

      1. The beat made the song worse than it originally was and it wasn’t a tight song on that album to make a remix of…lol

    2. Hip Hop sin. Not knowing one of the best tracks (track 4, Last Real Nigga Alive) off one of the best albums (Gods Son) by one of the best hiphop artists ever (Nas).

      1. It’s embarrassing ain’t it…whole team of editors and “hip hop experts” but nobody at DX knew that. It explains alot of other things I’ve seen or heard on this site

    3. This is not new I had a feeling it would be something like this when I saw the name. Does hiphopdx not know its hiphop history?

    4. Not new, it’s his weak ass “Last Real Nigga Alive” but with a different beat that’s just as wack as the other one. Hov murked this nigga on “Takeover” and buried his casket on “Blueprint 2”.

      1. your name days it all …..if it wasnt for queens bridge there would be no hip hop…Nas is probably the best rapper alive …ignorant herb

      2. Wrong bitch. “If it wasn’t for the Bronx, this rap shit probably never would be going on” -Lord Tariq

And to the others, y’all just mad that Hov killed Nas and has a much better life and career than he does.

      3. I’m sure Nas is jealous of Jay and little Jay Ivy running around stacks of contracts to secure the next CEO of Tidal after another one bites the dust in a few weeks….

    5. Its a cool song. Its hard to tell who the better rapper is between Nas and Jay Z. Illmatic is a top five hip hop album of all time. However I think Jay Z has been more consistent when you go album by album

      1. Yes, Nas respects hip hop enough to do songs with Young Money, Madonna and Justin Beiber. LOL, fuck outta here, you lame.

      2. Jay:
        1 Reasonable Doubt
        2 The Blueprint
        3 The Black Album

        Nas:
        1 Illmatic
        2 It Was Written
        3 Stillmatic
        4 God’s Son

Of course each of them has put out many other albums with great records, but in my opinion these are the stand-out projects. To me Nas had the edge with 4 ovee Jays 3. But to each their own.

      3. If being consistently mediocre is your thing then HOV is the number one choice no doubt. However, if you really did listen to those albums, the only thing that has been consistent for HOV, is his need to dumb things down on singles, to sell records. In the end when listening to both their respective catalogs it always seems HOV was in it for the money but Nas actually likes and respects Hip Hop.

      4. That list isnt that bad … Let’s look at HOV

Linkin Park, Lenny Kravitz, Bono, Chris Martin, Blue Ivy, Hector y Tito( remember when everyone thought latin music was next big thing and Jay tried to jump on that bandwagon), Justin timberlake, Baauer etc.. etc..?

    6. How can anyone call this an unreleased Nas track? This is another version of Last Real Nigga Alive from God’s Son.

I knew DX was falling off, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Now you have people working for you who don’t even KNOW hiphop?!

Hotnewhiphop is the only good hiphop site these days.
