I love black hippy shit but this shit right here nigga? Nah this shit is just bullshit. Trying too hard to create a shitty flow, no fucking substance, and a shitty repetitive beat. C’mon black hippy this shit ain’t right.
Honestly! This shit is wack. That’s the only thing with TDE..when you have dope artists and they start doing too much in terms of “trying too hard” to be different it messes up the formula. I think all 4 of these are very talented but all this doing weird voices & oddball flows…STOP IT! Shit sounds mad corny & extra. Beat is cool, lyrics are cool…but it ruined the song!
souls always been the weakest in my opinion, he has a few clever bars and obviously can rap but some of the shit he says is just stupid and he doesn’t seem nearly as enlightened and spiritual as he thinks he is, Kendrick comes off more knowledgeable in those areas, yet ab is the one known for that type of stuff because he mentions having a 3rd eye and chakras but never goes in depth on any of it
@realhiphophead Agree 100% about Ab not being nearly enlightened as he thinks. He was at his best when he was just rhyming about regular shit.. Then a few hip hop blogs & websites got in his head thinking he was some kind of prophet and it’s been downhill since..

Interesting flow but eventually runs stale midway in Kendrick’s flow. Ab-Soul gets an B for trying coming with a hint of dynamism in the flow. Forgettable track in the end!
could of been a goodsong. everyone trying to be “repetitive” with the flows like drake. but they only one Drake. the flow aint bad but its too repetitive. they shoulda just spit their line, switched it up and used that flow as a chorus – not thru the entire song.
