It’s been three years since Soul Khan’s most recent “Soulstice.” After blazing cyphers, tracks and battle rappers for the better part of a decade, the Brown Bag Allstar decided to take a year away from releasing new music. What transpired was perhaps the most tumultuous 365 of SK’s life. And he airs is all out on “Soulstice V.” DX reached out to Soul. Here’s what he told us:
I was out of the loop for a minute, working on my next album, but mostly dealing with the hardest year of my life. Soulstice joints are always sort of a conversation with myself, but this one is probably the most personal and hopefully also gives solace to those going through the proverbial ‘it.’
